The journey to "build" our 4WD Tow Vehicle is going to be take a considerable amount of time, which is okay.
After doing months of considerable research we have decided upon a 200 Series Toyota Landcruiser that we will modify with either a 3820kg or 4495kg GVM upgrade where both options include an upgraded suspension and handling package, front and rear wheel alignment, and federal certification.
We don't want to buy things we don't need, nor add things that just don't make make sense.
Having said all of that - We want to make sure that what we get built will do the job it is intended for.

Sarah and Keelan are both from WA and they are a great couple that we follow. We are getting a lot of ideas and inspiration from these guys.
They have both been to NZ twice driving around with a 4WD and caravan ... which is amazing.

We have found that Paul and Wenda provide such great content especially from the perspective of someone of our age group.
I think they are younger than us. ... but love what they teach.
We have seriously looked at the following towing vehicles but decided it might be an overkill for just the two of us.

We seriously watched a lot of Jonno's YouTube videos and fell in love with his setup. But once again for the two of us it would be too big of a rig.
Our next choice was the Nissan Patrol Y62 ... I wasn't keen on petrol

Journey with us.
