Roar 2025 Leadership Summit

It has now been 10 weeks since I had that encounter with God at Hilary's Wharf, Saturday 19th July, when I met a man named Mark and felt that the Lord was leading us on to another pathway toward serving Him in both the marketplace and the church.

It was Sunday, July 20th, when I began to document my encounter with God and write about my thoughts, what I felt the Lord was saying, and, most importantly, what the Holy Spirit was teaching me. I needed to hear from the Word of God, answers to my prayers and deepening my intimacy in Christ.

Sunday at 9:30 pm, 21st September, we returned home after a life-changing experience at Roar 2025 Leadership Summit in Brisbane, Queensland.

I was excited to get home, book an appointment with my GP, and get the results from the ultrasound on the tumour on my right side of my face/neck. The report was received with gladness. In my doctor's words. "You have nothing to worry about. There is no need to do an FNA (Fine Needle Aspiration), and we will now need you to have a blood test.

David Vaka is the Founder and Apostolic Leader of Breakthrough Nation, which is a global kingdom movement that focuses on establishing God’s will and purpose in every sphere of life. Founded in 1998 together with his wife Tina, he has been building strong apostolic churches and strategic relationships in order to fulfill the vision God gave him of “Total Redemption and Restoration of All Things”. In addition to Breakthrough Nation, David is also the Apostolic Leader of Pacific Global Apostolic Network (PGAN) and Apostolic Reformation Australia (ARA). These two platforms comprise of leaders from the ecclesiastical and marketplace that have the same heart, vision and mandate to usher in the kingship of Jesus over the Pacific region.

David is an apostle with a clear apostolic/prophetic message to the body of Christ and the marketplace around the world. He has a heart to see the body of Christ come together in its fullness of strength in the five-fold ministry so that the Kingdom of God can be manifested here on earth as it is in heaven. He has been ministering for over 25 years and speaks regularly at conferences, seminars and churches across the Asia-Pacific region.

David lives in Brisbane, Australia with his wife Tina and their four children Chizedek, Omega, Cyrus and Eden.

Paul Botha is the National Convenor

Paul is the Founding Apostle of One Church Perth and the One Church Network. He has pioneered multiple church plants in Africa, Asia and Australia. Through the influence of One Church Network, local church leaders have grown to become national church planting network leaders.

Paul is a marketplace entrepreneur and leadership advisor across a wide range of sectors. He is an author (The West is Burning), organisational consultant, and public speaker.

His experiences in the military, marketplace and church provides Paul with an ability to speak into a wide range of topics, with wisdom.

Paul is married to his wife, Trish and they have 2 sons. They live in Perth, Western Australia, where, together with the dolphins, they enjoy some of the most beautiful beaches in the world.

Recently, David Balestri passed the baton to Paul Botha to be the National Convenor of the Australian Coalition of Apostolic Leaders (ACAL). David Balestri is continuing as a member of ACAL/ICAL as a prophetic voice and leader of Marketplace Invasion.
